Alexis has been working since 2013 as an environmental affairs advisor for a major food company. He participates in strategies for the logistics of distributing unsold products to food banks, composting of final residues, designing and recycling packaging as well as mitigating GHGs.
He is completing a master’s degree in engineering at ETS to quantify food waste and find innovative solutions, such as insect breeding. With a background in starting a business, he has operated aquaristic and composting businesses. He is the co-author of a technical guide published on the Recyc-Québec site and has given numerous conferences in waste management.
